Data Structures for Beginners

Hello geeks,

This blog is to get placement in any product based companies . If we are not from great college then there may be chance that we can miss chance to sit for those companies .

But if you know good resources then you can easily get placements in companies like amazon , facebook and google . It is our responsibility that we should take care of Data Structures and Algorithms.

Now question is that how to start , okay don’t worry ! I will tell you a easy and clean way.

Data Structures :-

DS part is easy to complete . Interviewer can do variation in questions of Algorithms but Ds questions are most of time fixed . Just start with arrays then follow stack, queues, heap, segment tree, fenwick tree , linkedList . Do preparation in such way the when you prepare one topic then next topic should be related to previous one .

You can do preparation topic wise so it will make consistent pool in your mind , and remember that never be demotivated while preparation .

Now the main thing is about sources for such topics , okay just chill and follow :-

There is practice portal of geeksforgeeks so that you can do practice topic wise there.

You can also select level of questions , so you will increment yourself gradually.

2. https://leetcode.com/

LeetCode is standard platform where you can find all important topics ,questions are concepts themselves on leetcode so get understanding of each every question.

I will give you demo so you can get idea how to prepare . I am assuming that you are beginner .

So let’s start …

As i am beginner so i am choosing my first topic as array . Now , i am getting understanding of arrays that how it is working and how to use . Main thing is to use any data structure very well . So i am doing basic questions on https://practice.geeksforgeeks.org/explore/?category%5B%5D=Arrays&difficulty%5B%5D=-1&page=1&sortBy=accuracy of arrays . Now i get clarity of array so , i am going to do easy then medium and so on . Now i completed questions of array on geeksforgeeks so it’s time to do on leetcode http://leetcode.com and i completed questions of array on leetcode . Ohhhh…… very hectic naaa but i won’t stop . I can do anything means anything , leave it … I would not waste my time okay so i completed array very well so i think that, next related topic is stack should go with that ….and i completed stack from geeksforgeeks and leetcode as well as .

So geeks , do practice in that way . Don’t run for more sources , these two are enough for preparation .
